The PLUS module is an add on to the XCSITE 100 stimulator. It provide access to the stimulation voltage and current signal in real-time via two optical isolated BNC connectors. Typically, the PLUS module is connected to "analog in" ports of EEG systems or to an oscilloscope to monitor stimulation voltage and current in real-time. The module allows real-time tracking of the stimulation amplitude and provides precise timing of stimulation application when recorded together with EEG signals. The PLUS module is key-activated to ensure that only authorized users can access the stimulation waveforms to avoid accidental unblinding of study personnel. Industry standard optical isolation is used to decouple the stimulator from the PLUS module. Runs on a separate 9V battery and connects to XCSITE 100 by a medical-grade connector. Please note that the XCSITE 100 needs a small modification to accommodate the PLUS module. The modification is included in the price for the PLUS module.
